New Year's Day in Akwa Ibom changed in 2017 from being boring to being magical and totally awesome with the introduction of #ArtMostSphere 1.0 - a national Open Mic Competition and DJ Battle, happening live and loud in Uyo every January 1.
This event is wholly a private sector initiative, providing unsung artistes and DJs a rare opportunity to compete, receive music industry feedback, develop and grow to be the Nigeria’s best on the mic.
This year, the winner of the open mic competition will win a multi-million Naira recording deal, all-expense-paid video of winner's best single plus extensive media promotion on national/international media platforms, while the winner of the DJ battle will win a brand new Pioneer DDJ-SR2 Controller for Serato.
ArtMostSphere 2.0 holds on New Year's Day, Monday, 1st January 2018 at Discovery Park, Udo Umana Street, Uyo by 5pm.
