On Saturday, April 22, the Benue state police command arrested three male armed robbery suspects for shooting a commercial motorcyclist, also known as Okada rider.
360Basic gathered that on Monday, May 1, as the country celebrated Worker’s Day, the Benue state police spokesman, ASP Joel Yamu revealed that how the crime was committed as he penned down his own statement.
Joel Yamu revealed that the robbery suspects identified as Sunday Micheal, Samuel Orinya and Oche Vincent were spotted with two locally fabricated pistols around Dunamis Church opposite Benue state University second gate.
The man further revealed saying that these young men were arrested after shooting the Okada rider, who was later identified as James Aondonenge.
This Okada was reported to be a motorcyclist around Logo II area of Makurdi, who was shot on his thigh and back as the robbers were arrested in an attempt to dispose him of his motorcycle when he raised alarm which drew the attention of the policemen.
