The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced and confirmed the call off of it strike Nationwide
The Union announced the suspension on the End of a meeting with top government officers in Abuja on Monday.
ASUU declared a nationwide strike on August 14, bringing up the failure of the government to implement the 2009 agreement it reached with the union.
The union had requested, among different matters, the government to pay its contributors their earned allowances and to increase investment for universities.
