Lionel Messi's foundation has immensely impacted into the life of students in war-zoned Syria by financing the construction of 20 prefabricated classrooms as a donation to UNICEF.
Marca reports that the contribution from the Argentine's foundation has empowered more than 1,600 children to take part in school activities.
Sources reveal that the classrooms are properly furnished amidst the conflict in Syria.
Also, the classrooms are fully equipped with solar panels so as to "provide the best environment for learning despite the conflict", according to Marca.
The 29-year-old has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2010 and has earlier cried out for the war in Syria to come to an end.
He was also devastated by the impact of the war in the Middle-East on it's children in the aspect of sports.
