Details have emerged how the former first lady of Nigeria Patience Jonathan accused the governor of Sokoto and then Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal of working against her husband's administration.
In his new book titled, Against the Run Play, author and Thisday editor Olusegun Adeniyi said the former first lady slammed Tambuwal for militating against the efforts to reinstate the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term.

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal was at the wheel of driving himself to a friend's house on an April night in 2012 when his mobile phone rang."
He said the woman on the other end of the line from the caller identity was very well known to him so he had no hesitation picking the call. "But the greetings were not warm, an indication that all was not well," the former speaker said. He said before Tambuwal could ask questions on what was amiss, the woman had handed over the phone to another female - Patience Jonathan. "On the line this time was an unmistakable voice," he said.
Patience went on to rant over attempts by Tambuwal to bring down the Goodluck Jonathan's administration.
The former first lady had reportedly said: "You this Hausa boy... you want to bring down the government of my husband; you want to disgrace him out of power? Una no fit! God no go allow you." Reports person also added that the then first lady ranted for about five minutes on the phone. She accused Tambuwal of nursing an agenda against the federal government and Jonathan. He also said that Tambuwal maintained his cool by not saying a word to the first lady.
"Asked whether he said anything in reply while the vituperation lasted, Tambuwal said, 'What do you want me to say to the wife of the President? I just kept quiet and allowed her to vent her anger on me.'" Tambuwal also added that, "After a while she paused and I asked, 'Are you done MA? Thank you very much' and I dropped the call."
